A media archive preserves files. It does not automatically preserve why those files mattered.
A finished video might use ninety seconds from a forty-minute interview. The remaining conversation may contain future Story ideas, memorable soundbites, useful context, names, relationships, places, decision factors, or moments that become relevant years later.
Without a narrative memory layer, teams often solve the same discovery problem repeatedly: search old folders, ask who remembers a person, skim transcripts, start a new interview, or simply miss material that was already there.
